The wind alerted and then the mountain clouds arrived having determined that they would rain their jewel drops down hard to end the dry long days of summers heated heart.
Curtains and leaves swept up to windows and pools of light ringed on pavements with golden shiny starlets bright and they all gleemed as new.
Inhaling wet dewy soft air we awoke and stretched our tired limbs freshly and ran like children outside to see the miracle and to kindly soak our crackling bones.
Our smiles gave thanks.
